In this episode we’re rocking out some wall angels: a quick back exercise that everyone can do while at the office. Episode 03: Seated Back Stretch

This week we’re introducing you to an incredibly easy and very effective office exercise. Is your upper back completely locked up after sitting behind a desk all day? The ‘Desk Back Stretch’ can be done while sitting behind your desk. Do this exercise a couple of times a day and you’ll feel the stiffness melt away in your upper back.

Episode 04: Foam Roller Thoracic Mobility

The main objective of foam rolling is to relax the spine over the roller so we gain mobility in the vertebral joints of the thoracic spine. The hunched posture disrupts the “resting” position of our shoulder blades giving us a winged-look. Altered mechanics of the shoulder blades can lead to a variety of shoulder and muscular ouchies.

Episode 05: Shoulder Pass Mobility Exercise

It is crucial to execute the exercises slowly and controlled. The most common mistakes I see are with the speed (too quick), with sub-optimal usage of the band (poor form), and with the attempt to gain a false range of motion by pulling the band apart (cheater). Never perform this exercise to the point of pain.
